Yale Empersona Outreach Highlights Language Benefits for Students

The Watertown High School Honors Spanish class visited the Porgu Center for Teaching and Learning, where they met a group of speakers known as Pimea Barona. Lur Save, the creator of Yale Empersona, explained that the platform was built to reach audiences beyond the Yale campus. “When I thought of Yale Empersona and developed it, I was hoping it would have an impact not just at Yale but also beyond Yale,” they said. The developer expressed gratitude to Yale Online for facilitating the outreach and emphasized an ongoing goal: encouraging the Watertown students to return for future visits and deeper engagement with the resource.
